Public House. C16. Plastered timber framing with plain tile
roof. North front: 2 storeys and cellars on stone plinth with
continuous bracketted jetty. Dragon post at left end.
Approximately 4 timber-framed bays. Irregular fenestration
of 4 small 2 and 3 light casements on first floor. Truncated
projecting stack at right end. C20 half-glazed door at
left end, up 3 steps. Single-storey C20 extension at left
end with wrought iron balcony over. Rear wing to left:
approximately 2 timber-framed bays. East elevation, to Green,
has painted brick ground floor, rendered above, with plain
tile roof. One storey and attics. C19 canted bay window
on ground floor and 2 eaves dormers with large casements.
Ridge stack off-centre to right. C20 door in lean-to porch to
left.
