Probably after 1761, when it was purchased by James Bourdieu. A substantial house.
Red brick. Two storeys. Two-three sash windows with blind boxes. Projecting centre
with open pedimented Doric porch with triglyph frieze. Painted modillion cornice,
plain parapet with central pediment. Garden front has 3 windows, centre recessed
between projecting wings with projecting 2 storeyed brick bays. Portland stone
balustraded stone parapet. The cellars of an earlier buildings apparently survive.
