Early C17. Fromerly Raynald's Mansion, and now divided into two-tenements.
Timber frame and plaster with some painted brick; 3 storeys. The house
is of 3 bays, with 2 square bays over 2 storeys added circa 1682, the
whole covered by a pentice tile roof. Between the bays, on the 2nd storey,
is a balcony with turned spirals and carved heads. Fenestration throughout
is of C19 plain three-light casements. C19 simple small shop fronts.
On the cornice of the right-hand bay is an inscription and the date 1682.
The studding of the central panels is of the lozenge type. Three gables
with modern or restored carved bargeboards.
