Built 1825. Originally used for corn milling. Converted in 1832. Produced
paper pulp from rags (1832-1850). After 1850 reverted to flour milling. Three
storeys. The original portion has three windows. Red brick, once painted.
Slate roof. Modern addition of three windows to the east. Originally the mill
was a unique building forming both a watermill and a windmill with a small wind-
mill standing on the roof of the building. But this windmill has been removed
since the building was first listed and it is now a watermill only.
