The Old Thatch
GV II

House and restaurant. c1840, Gothic style shown on 1842 Tithe
map. Painted rubble with thatched roof. Irregular shape, 1
storey or 1 storey and attics. 3 windows. Projecting gable to
south with bargeboards featuring Victorian scroll and pendant.
1st floor 4-light oriel on brackets. Ground floor has altered
window. To north is a one storey portion with 2 renewed
casements and eyebrows. Tall stuccoed chimney. Catslide roof
to rear.
Interior has staircase with stick balusters and matchboard
panelling in front right side room.
