Road bridge. 1781 by John Carr. Ashlar. 7 segmental arches with
voussoirs. The 3 central arches are larger, the central arch is flanked by
semicircular cutwaters which rise into pedestrian retreats. To each end of
3 central arches the bridge breaks forward with pilasters to outer side of
end arches. Band, plain parapet, stone coping. Square end piers. Half the
bridge is in the parish of Baldersby, Harrogate District.
