A mid to late C17 coursed gritstone house with irregular flush quoins. Two-storeys,
2 bays with gable end stone slate roof. Large external chimney stack with offsets
to east gable end. South front has former 5 light, now 3 light, chamfered mullion
window in splayed reveals to right hand and similar former 3 light now one light
to left hand. Outshut porch. Alterations to fenestration and recapping of
chimney stacks in late C18 and early C19. Next to external stack is a third 3 light
chamfered mullion window. Rear elevation has single and 2 light square mullion.
C18 windows but retains splayed reveal opening of an original former 3 light window
to right hand of ground floor. Single-storey altered outhouse range across west
gable end.
