Circa 1860. Ground floor stock brick with 3 pilasters and 2 round headed arched
windows with keystones. The first floor has 2 glazed sliding sashes. Hipped slate
roof with wide cornice supported on brackets. Wooden ladder to first floor signals
machinery. This was probably one of the earliest signal boxes with John Saxby's
patented interlocking of points and signals.
