Hotel, c.1803. Rendered and painted, with Welsh slate roof having gable
copings kneelers and corniced end stacks. 3 storeys, 3 bays. 2 c.1900
rectangular-plan bay windows to ground floor left have angle pilasters and
cornice. Similar bay to right forms porch. Upper floors have late C19 sash
windows in architraves. First-floor windows have glazing bars to top
lights. Pilaster strips at angles. 2-storey, 2-bay house adjoining right,
now part of hotel. 2 early C20 bay windows and one casement window to
ground floor; paired first-floor sash windows in architraves have glazing
bars to top sashes. Shallow eaves parapet; off-centre gabled roof dormer
with ornamental barge boards; and 2 tall rebuilt ridge and end stacks.
