Canal warehouse, now workshops and stores. Dated 1836 on south parapet; altered. Brown brick with some sandstone dressings roof not visible). Long rectangular plan on east-west axis. Six storeys, with 13-window south facade; coupled
semi-circular shipping holes in 7th-9th bays, with raised keystones; small round-headed windows on all floors, but those at 1st floor over the shipping holes blocked and those to the right altered, and all at 2nd floor (except 3 over the shipping holes) replaced by horizontal-rectangular windows; parapet with flat coping, and rectangular upstand over shipping holes lettered "1836". 4-window gable walls have full-height round-headed multi-stage loading slots, similar windows (some altered), and copings with wide kneelers; rear has 3 similar loading slots, 2 of these still with semicircular canopies to crane gear, and similar windows.
