House. C16 or C17, front c1920. Dressed stone rubble; plain
tile roof; massive brick central stack and 2 end stacks with
recessed panels and spurs, pilasters and bands.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and cellar; 3-window range of mullion and
transom oriels; modillion band to eaves. Central entrance
under gabled porch set between mullion and transom bays;
datestone to right: "ER 1665". Right returned side: C19
casements to gables; plank door flanked by early C20 windows.
Left returned side: C17 studded plank door with strap hinges
to basement. Rear: moulded mullion light to basement; C20
fenestration; C20 roughcast wing.
INTERIOR: reputed to contain panelling dated 1587; ornate
plaster ceiling.
