Parish church. Fine large cruciform sandstone building with octagonal tower.
Dating from C14 the style is mainly decorated with some perpendicular of later
date. Restored (except for tower) mid C19 by Sir Gilbert Scott. Good carved
oak canopied choir stalls with notable misericords; enriched stone pulpit; several
interesting monuments.
