Built in 1533 and was the scene of a civil war battle. Repaired in 1681 and rebuilt in 1805.
5-arch rubble bridge, lightly ramped. Round arches with arch rings, voussoirs and stringcourse above; thin pilaster buttresses between each arch and very low pointed cutwaters. Simple parapet with end piers to E end. Modern reinforcements to W end cutting across the end arches on both sides to create a more gentle curve in the main road. The parapet walls continue to N and S at W end, further to S side.
