Memorial to the regimental fallen of WWI erected c1920.
Constructed of rough faced grey granite with the inscribed face polished. Square plinth; block with curved top carrying a lead inscription giving the names of the fallen in WWI and WWII. Plain Celtic type cross with tapering shaft.
Included for its special historic interest as a war memorial in the Monmouth town centre and as a part of the important group of buildings at Monmouth Castle.
