Farmhouse. C17 (VCH), with C18/C19 front. Red brick with brick dentil cornice.
Tile roof; brick external stacks. T-plan. 3 storeys; 2-window range. 6-.panelled
part-glazed door with hood on shaped brackets, and later trellis porch. Wood and
iron mullioned and transomed windows with glazing bars, under brick segmental
arches; first- and second- floor windows on left blind. 2 storey rear wing with
irregular fenestration; C19 and C20 casements. Interior: Room in front range has
open fireplace and broad chamfered ceiling beam with ogee stop. Rear wing has
ceiling beams. Said to have some exposed timber framing. Farmhouse forms group
with barns and granary (q.v.). Barn attached to end of rear wing (q.v.).
