2 blocks of houses (Nos 131 to 161, and Nos 181 to 193) separated by
Orchard Avenue. Small early C19 houses similar to those of Franklin
Place and also in very smart condition. 2 storeys and attic; slate
roofs; 1 dormer each. Stuccoed. 1 window each. Sash windows in
reveals in flat arches; glazing bars intact except in ground floor
windows of Nos 181, 191 and 193. No 185 has a small projecting early
C19 shop window on ground floor with glazing bars intact. Nos 131 to
157 have doorways with flat arches; Nos 161 and 181 to 193 have
elliptical arched doorways; doors in reveals behind. Some doors
modern; some with 6 flush panels. Doorways flanked by pilasters with
projecting cornices over.
