Pair of 2-storey, 2-bay early-mid C19 vernacular type cottages, No 8 wider and
with an extra ground floor window squeezed in. Dressed sandstone, No 8 coursed,
No 9 random, with small ironstone galleting, red brick dressings; and quoins to
No 8. No 8 has C19 one-bar casements and a 6-panel door in a modern gabled brick
porch. No 9 has 2 modern casements and 2 C19 sashes in box frames; and a small
modern window inserted on 1st floor. Modern gabled wood porch. Low pitched slated
roof with centre and end chimneys.
