Chertsey Lodge and The Gate House, at entrance to Ottershaw House, including Railings and Gates

GII
Late C18 with alterations. Mainly one storey, two window. Pair of lodges at sides of entrance drive, Coach Road. Stone or stucco, painted. Main windows, north, with sculptured panels above, and flanked by Doric engaged columns. Mutular eaves cornice with plain course above. Slate pyramidal roofs with central chimneys. A pair of fine C20 ornamental iron gates with panelled standards surmounted by urns with flowers, and flanked by probably earlier railings and pedestrian gates, lower in height. Referred to in Lair and Pevsner's Surrey 1962, p 337.
