Public house. C17 to rear left, C19 extensions to right and front, rebuilt in C20.
Timber framed to rear, clad in whitewashed render, rendered brick extensions,weather-
board cladding to rear right hand return front. Old plain tiled roof to left,
parallel range roofs to right. Original house of 3 bays now with extensions to
right forming L-shaped plan. Small ridge stack to centre left, valley stack to
right. Two storeys with parapet to left. Three C19 12-pane glazing-bar sash windows
to first floor left, with ground floor projecting below to lay flush with right hand
extension. Four cambered-head plate glass sashes and part-glazed door under similar
head to ground floor; railings above with fleur-de-lys finials to standards and inter-
secting tracery. Gable end to right with two first floor and two ground floor sash
windows under rendered and keystoned heads. Right hand return front:- One window to
first floor left, two fixed windows below. Weatherboarded range to right with
floored stable/store. Spine beams exposed internally in first floor rooms of rear
range.
