House with cottages attached. C16 with C19 extensions and alterations. Timber
framed core to main farm house, clad in galleted rubblestone with brick dressings;
plain tiled parallel range roofs with end stacks to both ranges. Farmhouse: 2
storeys over basement, 3 pointed arch leaded.casements across first floor with
lozenge leading bars; camber head basement windows. Central 6 panel door with
leaded fanlight under gabled open timber porch with leaded glazed, side panels on
brick and rubblestone dado walls. Pent roof addition to left end. I bay extension
to rear range to right with one leaded camber head casement on ground floor,further
range extending to right and further set back connecting to Nos 7 and 8 Moorhouse
Cottages at right angles to farmhouse: Early C19 galleted brick and rubblestone
with brick dressings; plain tiled roof with centre stack. 2 storeys, 4 casements
across first floor; ground floor windows under cambered heads. Planked doors
to ends (No, 7 to left, No. 8 to right)
