House. C15 hall house with early C18 front and late C19 addition to right end. Timber
framed with red and blue brick cladding to left and red brick to right. Plain tiled
roof with end stack to left and stacks to rear. 2 storeys with plat band over ground
floor to left, projecting gable front bay to right. Casement windows, 2 across first
floor left, one to right. Ground floor windows to left, tripartite, under cambered
heads. Ground floor angle bay window to right under pentice roof. Part glazed,
cambered head door in angle of two ranges, catslide extensions to rear.
Interior: timber framing visible to rear room, mainly on ceilings. Mill spindle used
as ceiling beam in rear room to left. Crown post in roof.
