Early C17, timber framed, roughcast, coved eaves cornice, tiles, slate
eaves courses. 3 windows, sash with glazing bars and flush frames.
Small paned shop fronts, some C13, on left and right with central shop
Window consisting of 1 pair of French windows flanked by arched windows
with glazing bars, radial head, and fan spandrels. No 28 shallow bow.
shop doors are panelled with upper arts glazed, one with original
glazing bars, both with open pediments and triglyphs above pilasters.
Interior: massive stop chamfered beam.
All listed buildings in Market Hill form a group around The Shire Hall.
