No.1. Garden Cottage & Home Farmhouse (formerly listed as Home Farmhouse)

Farmhouse and adjoining cottage. Early C17. One storey and attics. Timber
framed and roughcast, black glazed pantiled roof. Timbers exposed on front
show that end bay on south is an early C18 addition. 3-light mullion-and-
transome windows with square leaded panes, and 5 irregularly-spaced dormers
with leaded casements to 3. At rear, an early C19 2-storey wing in random
knapped flint with white brick quoins and dressings and slate roof. Small-
paned sash windows in shallow reveals to each storey. Rustic timber porch.
