The Stores (Post Office),
Kimcot and The Cottage

A C17 timber-framed and plastered house on an L shaped plan with a wing extending
north-west at the rear (The Cottage) and a cross wing at the south- west end.
Much altered in the C18 and later. 2 storeys in the rear wing and cross wing
and 1 storey and attics in the stores. The windows are partly double-hung sashes
with glazing bars and partly C20 casements. A C20 shop front projects on the
front. Roofs tiled, with 2 sloping slate roofed dormers above the stores.

The Stored (Post Office), Kimcot and The Cottage, Vine Cottage, Brook Cottage,
The Dell, and The Old Forge form a group.
