A C17 timber-framed and plastered house on an L- shaped plan with a wing extending north west at the rear (The Cottage) and a cross wing at the south west end. Much altered in the C18 and later. Two storeys in the rear wing and cross wing and one storey and attics in The Old Stores. The windows are partly double-hung sashes with glazing bars and partly C20 casements. A C20 shop front projects on the front. Roofs tiled, with two sloping slate roofed dormers above The Old Stores.
