7/6 Shoemakers Cottage

House. First half of C17. Timber framed with cement-rendered facade, the
remainder plastered. Thatched roof. 1½ storeys. 2-cell, lobby entry type.
2 windows, C20 metal casements with small panes. Mid C20 glazed door. 2
large eyebrow dormers with similar windows to ground floor. Stack has tall
rendered oblong shaft. Intact plain studding is visible internally, the wall
braces on the outside. Plain joists, set flat, in the 2 ground floor rooms.
Blocked fireplace with original lintol. Newel stair.
