GV II

Pair of cottages. Early-mid C18. Timber framed, roughcast-rendered, thatched
roof. 2 storeys. 4 windows, C20 metal casements with small panes. C20
doors. Heavy central stack and smaller gable stacks, all rendered over. A
purpose-built handed pair of cottages, that to the left relatively unaltered
internally. Framing has straight primary braces. Floor beams with grooved
stop-chamfers; small square joists. Later range to right (a separate
dwelling) not of special interest. Included for group value.
