House, early C17 with C18 alterations. 2-cell end chimney plan. One storey
and attics. Timber-framed and plastered. Thatched roof; eyebrow dormers with
small-pane casements. An external C17 end chimney to right, of narrow pale
pink bricks; an external C18 chimney of red brick to left. Late C19 or C20
small-pane casements of 3 lights. Gabled plaintiled late C20 entrance porch
with boarded door. Quite complete unmoulded framing with chamfered floor
joists laid flat. Two open lintelled fireplaces. The right hand cell
containing the hall is unaltered C17 work; the remainder was much altered in
C18/C19 but has C15/C16 components.
