A C16-C17 timber-framed house with exposed timber framing and plaster
infil. 2 storeys. The upper storey is jettied on the whole front, on
exposed joists. On the ground storey there are 2 bays, originally C18
but both are now converted into entrances. The windows are old latticed
casements. There are some small high level windows on the 1st storey
and the outer windows are oriel bays. Roof tiled, with an original chimney
stack with 4 grouped octagonal shafts. A later wing extends to the west
at the north end. Timber-framed and plastered. 1 storey and attics.
Casement windows. Roof tiled, with 3 gabled dormers. The interior has
exposed timber-framing.
