Mid C18 row of cottages in red brick. Two storeys, five windows, only one with glazing bars. Plain wood eaves cornice. Old tile roof with five dormers. Nos 1 to 3 have plain four-panel doors in wood frames. Nos 4 and 5 have doors paired in a single segmental-headed wood frame. Only No 5 retains a six-panel door.

The Castle PH, Nos 54 to 60 (even) and No 64 form a group.
