House, now 2 cottages. Late C17-early C18. Diaper brickwork with
thatched roof. North cottage (212) earlier, set at right angles to
road, single storey and attic. Two bays, with gable entrance, now
blocked and replaced by C20 porch on side. Gable stack and roof
hipped to rear. Single purlin roof. Attached on south side, No
214, two storeys, 3 bays. Central door opposite stack, replaced by
window. Fenestration altered, now paned casements. Brick wedge
lintels with cambered soffits to ground floor. Late C20 lean-to
porch at end, and extension of 1986 to rear. Roof hipped.
