Formerly shown as No 23. A late C18 square red brick house standing alone.
A 2 storey block at the rear, probably of earlier date, is connected to
the main block which is of 3 storeys and basement. The front has a parapet,
now mainly cement rendered, and a raised brick band. 3 window range on
front and 2 window range on the west side (mainly blocked), double-hung
sashes with glazing bars on the 2nd storey and single vertical glazing bars
on the lower storeys. The ground storey has a central doorway approached
by steps, with panelled reveals, half round columns, frieze and cornice
and a C20 shop window. Roof slate. The rear block has a parapet with a
tiled hipped roof.
