Very good early/mid C19 house formerly in its own grounds and now on corner with
Galmingon Road. Fenndered ashlar. 2 storeys, with fronts facing east and south.
Hipped slate roofs. Dentil cornice and blocking course. Banded quotas. Centre
of east front has small bow with Corinthian columns to 1st floor supported on a
substantial frieze with Ionic columns to ground floor. Windows with architreve
surrounds to each side on lst floor. Ground floor has canted bays with recessed
central doorway. Glazing altered. South front has a large 7-sided extension in
the form of a bay supported by Ionic colonnade which is joined to the frieze on
east front. Windows in extension have shouldered architrave surrounds and sashes
with wide glazing bars. Later extensions (altered) run forward on south side.
