Circa 1840-50 Tudor style red brick with painted stone dressings. Tiled roof with
gabled ends. Parapet. Centre projects slightly with high gable with moulded stone
coping, cornice and string course. 2 storeys. One window. 5-light wood mullion/transom
casements with glazing bars in chamfered painted stone surrounds with dripmoulds.
Ground floor to left and right 4-centred arch doorways in chamfered painted stone
surrounds with dripmoulds, narrow vertical panels to doors. Small stone shield
in gable. Originally the Headmaster's house for local school situated in garden
off Tackleway.
