Possible Hall House. Early C16 with later C16 and C17 extensions. Timber
framed, clad in whitewashed brick below, tile hung above with some plain
and some "club" pattern tiles; plain tiled roofs with hip and gablet to
right and rear left. Two storeys with the tile hanging splayed out over
the ground floor. Multiple corbelled stack to left of centre with further
stacks to rear. Steeply pitched gabled bay slightly set back and canted to
left end. Further wing set back at right angles to rear. One first floor
diamond-pane oriel window to left, angle bay window below. Leaded 2-light
window to ground floor left. Two, 3-light diamond-pane leaded casement
windows to first floor right, some with old glass. Square bay window to
ground floor right and two further windows on ground floor. Ribbed door
to centre under open gabled porch. Left hand return front - two windows
on ground floor and one window above. One of a picturesque group around
the Church.
