(Formerly listed as No 66 (La Boulangerie))

GV
II
Former house. Probably late C17 or early C18 of two builds; altered. Bargate rubblestone, galleted to wing and brick, front rendered and scored as ashlar. Plain tile roofs. Two storeys with attic, two bays with two storey single-cell rear wing; further C20 additions to rear not of special interest.

Front: early C20 shop front has central door in moulded architrave flanked by projecting shop windows which support corniced fascia and canopy box. On first floor, two sashes with glazing bars in shallow reveals. Two small dormers having two-light casements, tile-hung cheeks and hipped roofs.

Rear: main range has attic gable with two-light wooden mullioned window with scratch moulding. Wing has tile-hung gable and half-hipped roof.

Interior: chamfered spine-beams, with lambs tongue stops in front range and cyma stops in rear range which has some evidence of wattle-and-daub infilled timber-framed structure and roof with queen strut trusses, staggered butt purlins, large scantling rafters and straight wind-braces.
