C18 origins, late C19 alterations. Double pile house, the back roof pantiles, the front new tiles, dentil eaves cornice. Three storeys, rendered. Right-hand late C19 addition with moulded gable end and parapet. One segmental-headed window, band between storeys, modern entry. Main section has segmental-headed late C19 window of two lights, casements, to right, left has two windows to top floor with moulded cases and glazing bars, similar cases to first floor, hung sashes with glazing bars, band at cills. Modern shop front to ground floor. Included as part of a group.

Nos 2 to 18 (even) including Nos 4A and 14A form a group with the Parish Church of St Swithun. Nos 12, 14, 14A, 16 and 18 are of local interest.
