3 houses and attached cottage and former bakehouse, now 2
shops and 4 flats. Late C18, early and mid C19, with late C20
alterations. Brick with pantile roofs. Front has continuous
fascia over shopfronts, cogged eaves, single gable and single
ridge stacks. 3 storeys; 3 window range. 3 plain sashes with
segmental heads, and above, 3 smaller windows with glazing
bars, that to the left renewed. Off-centre carriage opening
with, to left, a replica early C19 shopfront with central door
and fanlight, flanked by single windows each with 3 round
headed lights. To right, altered late C19 shopfront with
angled doorway and single window. Rear has 2 parallel 2 storey
ranges flanking a courtyard. North side has 2 late C18
cottages, that to left double fronted, with segment headed
ground floor openings and mainly Yorkshire sashes. South side
has to left, in the return angle, a hipped projection, and to
its right, a single storey glazed corridor linked to the
former bakehouse. Mainly C20 fenestration.
