House. Early Cl8 5-storeyed stuccoed timber-framed with cellars and a shop
front with a modillioned cornice and panelled pilaster strips. In the 1st
and 2nd floors are 3 sash windows with glazing bars in moulded wood frames.
Above the 2nd floor is a moulded cornice. The top 2 storeys are a later
addition and have 2 sash windows in each floor. Interior: RCHM p 168 a.
Includes an original staircase. History. Oxf Hist Soc 85 (1926), 208-9.

Nos 1 to 7 (consec) (East part) Oriel Square with Nos 1 to 10 (consec) and
No 12 Oriel Street form a group.
