Farmhouse, c1730, for a member of the Pettus family. Colourwashed brick,
pantiles and black glazed pantiles; hipped roof, platband. 2 storeys. Main
facade to west of 3 bays, pantiles, sashes with glazing bars, some of 4 x
4 panes; central doorway with portico having Tuscan columns. Facade to south
of 4 bays, similar fenestration, black glazed pantiles. Pantiles to roof
to rear. The house is the sole survivor of the former parish of Markshall.
Minimal description as access not obtained at time of survey.
