Former use unknown, now office with C15 undercroft.
Office:- Red brick. Roof not visible. 3 storeys, 2 bays. C19 shopfront.
Side hung casements with top light in raised and moulded surround. Under-
croft:- Brick. 2 bays with diagonal and cross ribs, wall arches and a
long pointed barrel vault end chamber extending beneath the Redwell Street
pavement. An open corridor with small cross ribs extends along the length
of the south side of the undercroft. The end ribs turn diagonally and
could reflect one of the C15 entry arrangements. The building is graded
II* because of the undercroft, one of an important group within the City
Walls.
