Pair of houses in terrace. Mid C19. Red brick; slate roof; 2 brick
ridge chimneys. 2-storeys; 3 first-floor windows, symmetrical. Steps
up to part of panelled doors (No. 179 with 6 raised and fielded panels)
and overlights with glazing bars flanked by fluted half-columns supporting
a hood with triglyph frieze. Windows have sashes with glazing bars under
flat gauged brick arches.
