House. Early C19 with later additions and alterations. Red brick, hipped slate roof with axial stacks behind ridge to left and right. Three storeys; three-window front, glazing bar sashes to first and second floors and plate-glass sashes to ground floor; central flat-roofed stuccoed porch, surmounted by balustrade has six-panel door approached by flight of three steps.

Pointed iron railings to front on low stone wall terminate in painted stone piers adjoining porch to centre and similar piers to left and right.

The front of the house was largely covered with ivy at time of re-survey (August 1985).
