C16 L-shaped timber-framed hall house, much restored. Ground floor rebuilt in red brick and underbuilt; timber frame exposed above with plaster infilling. Mostly rather thin framing in front. Tiled roof with catslide behind. Restored red brick chimney stack of four diagonally placed diamond-shaped ridge shafts. Two storeys and attic; four window front with gables over and bays containing attic windows. Two modern gabled dormers between the gables. Modern casements. Modern gabled weather porch to right. Small west wing at rear and modern extension beyond.
