Cottage. Early to mid-C17 with later additions and alterations. Timber framed with rendered infill on high uncoursed limestone rubble plinth, continued (rendered) to left gable end, painted concrete block plinth to right; slate roof.

Two-cell plan. One storey and attic. Framing: irregular square and rectangular panels, two and three from cill to wall-plate to right with short straight tension brace. Queen-strut truss to right gable end. C20 casements to left and right and to gabled eaves dormer to left. Entrance to right gable end through C20 glazed door under contemporary open gabled porch. Internal C19 brown brick end stack to left.

Interior: left ground-floor room has chamfered spine beam and large stone inglenook fireplace with chamfered wooden lintel. Timber framed cross wall. Back wall partly knocked through in late C20 to give access to wide gabled addition (not of special architectural interest).
