Pair of semi-detached cottages. C18, altered late C20. Red sandstone random rubble, thatched roof, brick stacks gable
ends. Plan: single cell, symmetrical facade, entrance through porches on North front, now blocked. 2 storeys, 4 bays;
all C20 casement windows, 2 full height, gabled, thatched porches in outer bays, 2 central windows first floor, one
left groundfloor, segmental headed openings to porches, now blocked. Entrance to Japonica Cottage (left) through single
storey, C20 additon left, to Honeysuckle Cottage (right) through C20 gabled, thatched porch on rear elevation.
Primarily listed for group value with Hillview (qv) about 3 metres East.
