Dated 1905. By C Samson and A B Cottam. Imposing neo-Classical building of 2
storeys and basement, Ashlar with rusticated plinth. Central triangular pediment
with cartouche, artistic putti and elaborate foliation rises above dentil eaves
cornice and balustered parapet, Ionic pilasters divide front which has recessed
central section flanked by Ionic columns. 2nd (mezzanine) floor has semi-circular
windows with keystones and aprons. Ground floor windows have architrave surrounds,
Semi-circular basement openings. 5 windows with large metal frames.

All the listed buildings (except No 34 and the Dragon Book Shop and Wall) in Bath
Place and Corporation Street form a group.
