Large mid/late C19 building occupying a corner site with East Street. 3 storeys.
White brick. Dentil cornice and parapet. Plain pilasters. Moulded strings divide
storeys. Curved corner, 1 window facing East Street, 3 windows to Billet Street.
One 3-light window to 2nd floor and one canted bay to 1st floor on East Street.
Windows with architrave surrounds, sashes no glazing bars. Contemporary shop fronts
turning the corner with large entrance in Billet Street, rusticated pilasters,
large volutes and double 4-panel doors. Lower 2 storey extension to left. Included
for group value.

No 1A Billet Street No 66 the County Hotel, the Brendon Bar and No "8" East Street,
form an important group with the listed buildings in Cheapside, Fore Street and
the Parade.
