Said to be of the same date as the Almshouses adjoining (1570) but on the
outside the only part visible that dates from that period is the crow-stepped
gable in the west front. 2 storeys red brick. Tiled roof and parapet with
stone coping. The front dates from the C18 and consists of a bay of 3 windows
with glazing bars intact. Side elevation has 2 sashes. Doorcase with reeded
frame.

Ye Olde Beverlie Inn and Nos 1 to 6 (consec) Marwood`s Hospital form a group.
