Terrace. Nos 166-8 dated 1874 on plaque, others dated 1876. By Austin and
Roland Plumbe for the Queen's Park Estate of the Artisans, Labourers and General
Dwellings Company. Yellow brick with red brick dressings. Welsh slate roof, 2
storeys, each house 2 bays. Free Gothic style. Gabled porches on corbels
contain paired entrances with half-glazed doors. Ceramic date plaque to gables.
C19 shop front to ground floor of No 170. Tower to No 168 on 3 storeys, 2 bays
with pointed blind tympana to windows and gauged brick pointed arch to doorway.
Paired sashes with dividing colonette and painted lintels. Above, mainly
sashes. Moulded brick eaves course. The terrace forms part of the main street
of the Estate.
