War Memorial dedicated 25th June 1921. Granite with iron railings. Obelisk. Banded rustication and inscription on base which reads "They willingly left the unachieved purpose of their lives in order that all life should not be wrenched from its purpose". Plaque to rear commemorates the 1939-45 war. Bronze coat of arms. Plain railings with corner wreaths. The memorial is set on a hill overlooking Hyde.
